it’s weird, because i’ve been working out since i was 15. for fitness more than building.. and now i’m interested in building. and cross fit too.
it’s like i can tell others what to do.. but for me.. it’s like i need help even starting again.. what am i to do?
i want to build but can’t really do that too much at home right now because all i have are 25’s to work with. not horrible.. but.. if i want to build bigger.. ima have to lift bigger. no way around it. but ima keep working out hard with what i have right now…
cross fit is cool.. i just want to get size… hopefully crossfit gets you size!

FEMALES WHO EXERCISE PLEASE READ THIS!!
When I’m training my female clients and I mention introducing weight training in to their routine, I get the same response every single time:
”I don’t want to build huge muscles”
If only it were that simple to just pick up a weight and have huge biceps the next day!
Let me make you aware of why weight training may benefit you more than that tedious cardio you do every session!
In a nut shell, women cannot naturally produce as much testosterone (one of the main hormones responsible for increasing muscle size) as males do. Therefore it is impossible for a woman to gain huge amounts of muscle mass by merely touching some weights. Unfortunately, women suspect that picking up a weight will turn you in to the lady above (props to her for her hard work and effort!). Most of these women, unfortunately, use anabolic steroids (synthetic testosterone) along with other drugs in order to achieve that high degree of muscularity. In addition, most also have good genetics coupled with an unbelievable work ethic that enable them to gain muscle quickly when they spend hours in the gym lifting very heavy weights. Believe me when I say that they do not look like that by accident. Women who conduct weight training without the use of steroids get the firm and fit cellulite-free looking body that you see in most fitness/figure shows these days.
To say lifting weights is better than cardio wouldn’t be fair as they both have there advantages. But to get a complete workout and achieve the best results, I advise you to mix up both weight training and cardiovascular training.
